GUNSHY is an energetic and versatile band that personifies fun at any club, party or event. This group consists of four well seasoned, talented musicians who all share in a variety of instrumental and vocal styles. When you see Gunshy you will hear a full rhythmic, unified sound with an uncommon, distinctive edge that will get you to your feet when you hear them play. THESE GUYS ROCK ! The band features two lead guitars that “rip it up” no matter if it is rock (60’s to today), blues, alternative rock, rockabilly, etc…. The bass player and the drummer are totally aware that their primary purpose is to thump out the rhythm for the dancers. Jonathan (bass) “nails” the vocals to a variety of Motown, Elvis, Beatles, & Stray Cats. You should hear his vocals on “Ooh Baby Baby” by Smokie Robinson or “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye.  You want some Billy Idol, blues or Tom Petty? Bob lays down strong vocals on “White Wedding” or “Runnin’ Down a Dream” while Doug rips through the guitar solos. It is not easy to stay in your seat when the two play duo guitar solos on tunes like “Waiting for the Bus” or “Jesus Just Left Chicago” by ZZ Top. The dance floor is full all night while everyone gets up and shakes what they’ve got to their favorite songs played Gunshy style.  Bob is known for the inventive things he does with the blues. No one can stretch a string as far as he does. Doug has a great voice for the Doobie Brothers, John Cougar and he also performs the guitar solo to the “Sultans of Swing” note for note. You should hear him play it…it’s jaw dropping phenomenal! These guys flat out ROCK!  When you see Gunshy, you can’t help but join them in their enjoyment and passion for the music they create. They are totally in tune with the fact we are all here to have fun. They aren’t in it for the money because there isn’t any.
